Day 1
Arrival in Sri Lanka | Horathapola Estate
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Ceylon Exclusive team, who will personally brief you before introducing you to your private chauffeur-guide for the journey to the tranquil Horathapola Estate. Set within a historic coconut plantation, this beautifully restored colonial manor provides the perfect introduction to Sri Lanka, allowing time to relax and unwind after your international flight.
Days 2–4
Discover the Cultural Triangle
Travel north into Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle, the cradle of the island's ancient civilisation. Over the next three days, discover the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, explore the impressive ruins of Polonnaruwa and experience an unforgettable wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park. Optional experiences such as village walks, cycling through the countryside and visits to lesser-known archaeological sites can also be incorporated to suit your interests.
Day 5
Kandy
Continue to Sri Lanka's cultural capital, Kandy, nestled amongst forested hills and centred around its picturesque lake. Visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens if you wish, and experience the relaxed charm of this historic city.
Days 6–8
Scenic Tea Country of Hatton
Journey into Sri Lanka's spectacular central highlands, where emerald tea plantations blanket the rolling hills and colonial traditions remain very much alive. Spend three nights in the scenic tea country of Hatton, renowned for its elegant tea bungalows, breathtaking scenery and world-famous Ceylon Tea. Visit a working tea estate, meet local tea experts, enjoy leisurely walks through the plantations and savour the cool mountain climate that has captivated travellers for generations.
Days 9–10
Yala National Park
Descend from the highlands to the untamed wilderness of Yala National Park. During your two-night stay, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of the elusive Sri Lankan leopard, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles and an extraordinary variety of birdlife. Between safaris, relax at your luxury lodge and take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding wilderness.
Days 11–13
Southern Coast
Your journey concludes on Sri Lanka's beautiful southern coastline, where golden beaches, swaying palms and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean provide the perfect setting to unwind. Explore the historic Galle Fort, enjoy leisurely days by the sea or indulge in optional experiences such as whale watching (seasonal), cinnamon estate visits or sunset cruises.

Departure
